Mojave Audio has announced its new MA-50 large-diaphragm transformerless condenser microphone designed for clarity and realism.
The microphone’s fast transient response and its ability to handle high SPLs (up to 140dB) make the MA-50 a versatile model. Utilising the same 3-micron capsule as in the acclaimed MA-200 and MA-201fet mics, it is well suited to capturing vocal performances, voiceovers, acoustic instruments, as well as percussion instruments and drums.
The new MA-50 has a fixed-cardioid polar pattern design. The microphone incorporates a 3-micron capsule, employs transformerless circuitry that results in an extremely low noise floor. The MA-50 offers a basic yet elegant design that makes it ideally suited for use in both professional and home studio environments.
